You are not getting flyers from your child and she or he has N's or U's on their report card. You are trying to find out what is going on but you can't. Well there are a couple of ways to get involved with your child's school.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • access to the internet
  • lots of free time
  1. Step 1

Go to Google and type in your kids school names. Then their school website should show up. On the homepage there should be all the telephone numbers for the school. Feel free to call their grade administrator or the front desk to schedule a teachers conference.

  2. Step 2

While at the teachers conference give the teacher your cell phone number and tell them to call you if your child's grades start slipping.

  3. Step 3

Join the PTA at their school if you have the time. That way you can talk with other parents about the concerns and ideas you have.

  4. Step 4

Also you can be a volunteer on field trips. You might want to talk to your child first because you would not want to embarrass them.

Most schools also need coaches for their sports teams.
