How to Make Chocolate Dipped Candy Canes

Chocolate dipped candy canes are a wonderful treat, especially during the holidays. Dipping candy canes in creamy chocolate adds a decadent touch to a sweet indulgence.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 12 candy canes
  • 12-oz. bag of chocolate candy melts
  • Plate
  • Waxed Paper
  • Cellophane
  • Ribbon
  1. Step 1

    Pour the chocolate candy melts into a microwave safe container and heat on medium for 1 minute.

  2. Step 2

    Stir the candy melts. Continue to microwave at 20-second intervals until all of the chocolate has melted.

  3. Step 3

    Dip the hook of each unwrapped candy cane into the melted chocolate. Spin each candy cane until the hook is completely covered.

  4. Step 4

    Place the candy canes onto a plate covered with waxed paper.

  5. Step 5

    Refrigerate the candy for 20 minutes, or until the chocolate is fully hardened.

  6. Step 6

    Wrap each individual candy cane with cellophane. Tie a bow around the stick part of the cane for decoration.
