How to Make Homemade Bleach Bathroom Cleaner

Bleach is one of the best things that you can use to clean your bathroom. However, bleach cleaners can be relatively expensive to other cleaning products due to their popularity. You can save a great deal of money by buying your bleach plain and making your own bleach bathroom cleaner at home.

Things You'll Need

• 1/3 cup of bleach
• 1/3 cup of vinegar
• 1/3 cup of baking soda
• 1 tbsp. of laundry detergent
• Rubber gloves
• Small bucket
• Plastic spoon
• Airtight container
• Sharpie

Instructions

1. Check your laundry detergent. Before mixing in your laundry detergent, make sure it contains no ammonia. Ammonia reacts with bleach and will form a toxic gas.

2. Mix all of your ingredients together in the bucket. You can stir them with a large plastic spoon or a stir stick. Be sure to wear gloves to protect your hands from splatters.

3. Apply the mixture to where you want to clean. The bleach and vinegar will disinfect. The laundry detergent will lift any grease stains. And, the baking soda will act as a scrubbing agent.

4. Rinse any cleansed area thoroughly.

5. Store any leftover cleaner in the airtight container. The container should be labeled clearly so that no one accidentally drinks your cleaning mixture.
