Instructions

    • 1

Take the smaller jar and attach flowers or potpourri to the outside of the jar. Glue the decorative elements on with a hot glue gun. If you don't have a hot glue gun, put a rubber band around the jar, tuck the flowers into the rubber band, and tie a ribbon around the rubber band.
Don't give the jar too many decorative elements or you won't be able to see the candlelight through the glass.

    • 2

Trim the flowers to make sure none of the decorative elements stick over the rim of the jar. Otherwise, you risk setting the flowers on fire when the candle is lit.

    • 3

Place the candle into the smaller jar.

    • 4

Put decorative moss, leaves, pebbles or more potpourri on the bottom of the larger jar.

    • 5

Place the decorated small jar gently into the larger one, resting it on top of the moss and pebbles.

    • 6

Tie a ribbon around the larger jar and add a decorative flower to the ribbon if you like.

    • 7

Using a fireplace match or a long butane lighter, light your candle.
