How to Delete Web History in Mozilla Firefox

With identity theft becoming more and more common, it's smart to keep all of your personal information under wraps. This information includes all of your browsing history. If someone were to get onto your computer, they would have access to every website that you have visited, as well as passwords and log-in names if they are saved on your computer. A sure-fire way to avoid this information getting into the wrong hands is by deleting it.

Instructions

  1. Deleting Individual Files

      Open Mozilla Firefox.

      Click "History" in the top left-hand corner.

      Locate "Show All History" from the drop-down menu and click it.

      Delete a history individually by highlighting it and pressing the "Delete" button on your keyboard.

    Deleting All Browsing History

      Open Mozilla Firefox.

      Click "Tools" in the top left-hand corner of your browser.

      Locate "Clear Private Data" on the drop-down menu and click it.

      Choose which items you wish to clear ("Browsing History" will be an option) and check the box next to them.

      Click "Clear Private Data Now."
