Instructions

1
Take one end of the lace between your thumb and index finger.
-
2
Push the lace through one of the eyelets closest to the toe of the shoe, making sure to go from the outside of the shoe to the inside of the shoe.
-
-
3
Repeat with the other end of the lace. Put it through the other eyelet closest to the toe, making sure to go from the outside of the shoe to the inside of the shoe. You know the lace is in correctly when you could very easily tie a knot underneath the tongue of the shoe.
-
4
Make sure you have an even amount of extra lace on each side.
-
5
Take the leftover lace between your thumb and index finger.
- 6
-
7
Repeat Step 6 until you reach the eyelet closest to the ankle. You do not want to lace the very last eyelet on either side.
-
8
Try on the shoe and make sure that the lace is tight enough. If it is not, pull on both sides of the laces until it is tight on your foot, but you can still slide in and out of the shoe.
-
9
Remove the shoe and tie a knot on each side of the lace, getting as close to the eyelet as possible.
-
10
Remove the insole of the shoe.
-
11
Place any remaining lace underneath the insole.

Tips & Warnings
If the insole is very thin and you can feel the lace through the insole, feel free to cut the lace on either side after tying the knot. If the knot becomes loose at a later time or if the shoe is not tight enough, just retie the knot to correct the problem.
If these shoes are going to be worn for skateboarding, make sure to use sturdy laces. Breaking your laces while doing tricks is dangerous.
