Visit an e-card website to create and send a wedding card electronically. 123Greetings.com has great options in terms of ease of use. You don't need to create an account to use this site (see Resources).

Browse through the selection of wedding ecards available, and select the one you like by clicking "Send this ecard". Most ecards are animated, and many have music that accompany them. Preview the card before you decide to send it.

Personalize the ecard on the next screen. Type in your name and email address, the message and your recipient's name and email address. Decide if you want to be notified when the recipient reads the card by inserting a check mark in the appropriate box at the bottom of the page.

Click "Send this ecard" once you are finished with the personalization. The card will then be sent to the recipient's email address you provided.

Visit Hallmark's website if you wish to go the more traditional route of sending a paper wedding card.

Select the card you want by clicking the cover. If you choose one with a cover that can be edited, you will do this first. If not, you will be taken straight to the inside of the card to include your message to the recipient. When you are satisfied, click "Review Card."

Choose between two options available for mailing your card. You can have Hallmark mail the card directly to the recipient. All you pay for is the card plus a stamp. If you want the card mailed to you, you will need to pay additional shipping fees.

To create and print wedding cards, be aware that American Greetings allows you to do this at their website. For a yearly fee, you can create and print as many cards as you wish. The steps are the same with the Hallmark cards, though you will print and give them to your recipient yourself.
