Advantage Multi 18 is a flea treatment regime for cats that weigh between 9 and 18 lbs. It acts by stopping the life cycle of fleas on your pet. It is also used to treat and prevent roundworms, ear mites, and hookworms. The dosage for these larger cats is incorporated into the individual tube. Follow these directions to properly apply Advantage Multi 18 to your cat. You will need to treat your cat every 30 days throughout the year to both stop the life cycle of present fleas and to prevent future infestations.

Things You'll Need

• Cat weighing between 9 and 18 lbs
• 1 tube of Advantage Multi 18

Instructions

1. Open the tube of Advantage Multi 18.

2. Hold your cat firmly in your lap.

3. With one hand, spread the fur apart at the nape of the neck until you can see the skin. This is the base of the head where it meets the cat's back, just above the shoulder blades.

4. Squeeze the tube of Advantage Multi 18 to apply the entire contents to the skin on the cat's nape.

5. Pull the tube away and discard in a waste receptacle.

Tips & Warnings

• Do not forget to reapply the treatment every thirty days.

• Do not let your pet or others lick the fur or the skin around the treatment site. Do not let children apply Advantage Multi 18. Talk to your vet if after two months of using Advantage Multi 18 your cat still seems to have fleas or ear mites.
