Attach the spray nozzle to your hose. Turn the water on just enough to create light spray. Spray the first window you want to wash with the hose to clear out debris and bugs from the surface and the corners. Wipe the surface with a dry rag.

2
Apply a glass cleaner to the surface. Using a commercial spray cleaner, start at the top of the window. Spray the top half. Using a circular motion, wipe clean with a cotton cloth. Repeat for the bottom half.

Repeat the process for each window of your home.

Try another method. Fill a bucket with a solution of grease cutter and water, such as Lysol. Use vinegar and water if you prefer non-chemical cleaners. Use the spray nozzle on your hose to lightly spray the window.

Use a sponge to liberally sponge the solution onto the window. Using a circular motion, wipe the window with the sponge to remove dirt and grime. Wring out the sponge frequently.
