Turn off your laptop, close the lid, and disconnect from the power supply.

Turn your laptop over so the bottom is facing up and battery is facing you.

Remove the battery. The battery is closest to you. Slide the latch, directly below the battery, to release the battery. Gently pull the battery up and out.

Remove the Mini-Card compartment. The compartment is located beside the battery latch. Remove the screw holding the compartment in place and carefully remove the lid.

Remove the memory modules. The memory compartment is located beside the Mini-Card compartment. Remove the two screws holding the lid in place. Remove the lid and press the clips holding the memory in place. When the memory module tilts upward, gently remove it.

Remove the hard drive. The hard drive is located below the memory compartment. Remove the two screws holding the drive lid in place. Carefully remove the hard drive kit from the laptop.

Remove all remaining screws and use a flat head screwdriver to gently pry the base up. Unscrew the keyboard assembly and carefully lift the keyboard to remove it.
