How to Make Cinnamon Roll Flavoring

This cinnamon roll filling is great with instant biscuits for quick "minute" cinnamon rolls. It also makes an excellent filling for muffins, quick breads and other pastries. This filling is very easy to make and can also be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for one week.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup firmly-packed brown sugar
  • 5 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  1. Step 1

    Combine brown sugar and cinnamon nuts and raisins in a large bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.

  3. Step 3

    Store in the refrigerator until ready to use or immediately spread on prepared dough.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add 1c apple sauce for apple cinnamon filling
