How to Create a Club Flyer
If you have image design software, you can save money on your club flyer design by just creating the flyer yourself. The process is not as complex as it would first seem. There are two main elements to creating a hot club flyer: the photo and the font. Your photo should create a longing in the viewer to want to attend the club event (like pictures depicting the atmosphere, events and people who will be there). There should be no confusion about where to go for this event and how guests can get tickets. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Find a club flyer printer first, so that you can decide what size to make your file. Most club printers do 4 by 6, 4.25 by 2.75 or 8.5 by 2.75 inches (a long option), and other varied sizes.
-
2
Open a new file in either Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign or Adobe Photoshop. If necessary, you can your club flyer in PowerPoint and then save it as a JPG, but this will not yield good quality. Don't attempt to make a club flyer in Word. Set the document size at the size you chose in Step 1.

-
3
Decide if you want your club flyer to be single- or double-sided. Cost savings for a single-sided flyer is marginal at best when getting quotes from printers, so it might be better to do a double-sided flyer.
-
4
Choose a central background image for your club flyer. You can then either duplicate the image on the back, choose a different image, or select a solid color for the back of the flyer.
-
5
Add text that is dark or light enough in color to be seen on your chosen background. The lettering should contrast the image enough so that it is readable even from across a room. Choose a bold sans serif font (serifs are the tiny horizontal lines that accent the tips of letters in font styles) like Arial Black or Impact for the title or name of the event and a fancy or serifed font for the description of the event. Make all text as easy to read as possible.
-
6
Type in detailed information about the event, including date, time, cost and location. Add this information at the top or bottom of the front of the flyer, or on the back of the flyer where there is more room.
-
7
Save the file in the format that your printer requires and send it to them.
