How to Make Scented Body Oils
Scented body oils are a wonderful way to moisturize and soften the skin, and they're very easy to make. The following recipe uses grapeseed oil, a food-grade oil that is available in some grocery stores. Grape seed oil is light, has almost no smell, is hypoallergenic and is very popular with massage therapists. This recipe also includes apricot oil and sweet almond oil, which are slightly thicker and both very good for the skin. Sweet almond oil is another food-grade oil and is available in specialty grocery stores; apricot oil and the essential oils may be available in some skin care sections at specialty grocery stores. All of these oils and essential oils are also available online at places such as Massage Warehouse and Wholesale Body Oils. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
Have fun and experiment with your own favorite scent and oil combinations. Some oils have their own smell, which can enhance the scent experience. For example, extra-virgin olive oil has a very green smell that mixes well with herbal and citrus scents.
People with nut allergies should not use almond oil. If nuts are an issue, remove the almond oil and increase the grape seed oil to compensate.
