How to Get Faster Torrent Downloads
Downloading from torrents is the fastest and easiest way to get files. Go to a torrent downloading site such as Torrentz. Type in the files that you want to download.

Download a file that has a high seed-to-leech ratio. Seeds are the number of people uploading the file, while leechers are the number of people downloading the file. The higher the number of seeds, the faster the download will be. Look for files that have a seed-to-leech ratio higher than fifty percent.

Scroll down when taken to the torrent download location page. Copy all of the torrent trackers. Bit torrent trackers allow users to communicate and send data faster. The more active trackers a file has, the faster the download will be.

Use Utorrent as a bit torrent client. There are many clients such as Vuze (formerly known as Azureus). However in comparison to Vuze, Utorrent takes up less space and is proven to be faster.

Close out of all uploads and make sure you are only downloading one file at a time. Multiple downloads will affect your downloading speed. Exit all programs that require a lot of space, such as Adobe PhotoShop or any computer games.

Right click on the downloading file and click "Properties." Paste the trackers you have copied into the tracker window. Right click the file and "click update trackers" every 15 minutes.
