How to Connect a Subwoofer to an Amplifier
Even the best subwoofer can't lay down the bass without being connected to an amplifier. Hooking up your subwoofer properly to an amplifier isn't a hard job, and if you have the right materials and follow a few easy directions, your subwoofer will be hitting loud and strong every time.

Measure the distance between your amplifier and subwoofer to determine the length of wire you'll need. Take into account any twists and turns the wire will need to take.

Insert the positive lead of the speaker wire into the positive speaker output terminal of the amplifier. Connect the other end of the speaker wire into the positive terminal of the subwoofer.

Insert the negative lead of the speaker wire into the negative speaker output terminal of the amplifier. Connect the other end of the speaker wire into the negative terminal of the subwoofer.
