1
Measure your child's head. Every child has a different head size, so making sure that you measure your child's head before cutting the felt is important. Using a measuring tape, wrap the tape around the widest part of your child's head and note the measurement. Add on 1/4 of an inch to the measurement.

Mark your measurements on the felt. Lay the measuring tape down on the felt length-wise. Flatten the tape so that it is completely flat against the felt. Using a pencil, mark along the entire length using the specific measurement for your child's head. Mark a line 2 inches up on each end of the measurement. Across the top of the crown, sketch out a design of your own creation, making points and curves as a princess crown would have.

Using the hot glue gun, glue sequins to the front of the crown. Drop a dollop of hot glue onto the crown, and press a sequin onto the glue. You can create patterns with the sequins, or scatter them creatively. Use glitter glue to create scrolls and flowers on the crown. Let the glue dry completely before giving the princess crown to your child.
