Instructions

    • 1

Measure your child's head using a measuring tape. Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of the head. Add on 1/4 of an inch to the measurement.

    • 2

Lay the measuring tape down on the felt, and draw out a line equal to the measurement you took of your child's head size plus 1/4 inch. On each end of the line, draw a line 2 inch up on each side. All that is left to draw is the top of the crown. You can be as creative as you want to be, creating medieval curves and peaks.

    • 3

Carefully cut the crown shape you have created out with a pair of scissors. Insert a glue tick into the hot glue gun, and plug the hot glue gun into the wall to heat up. Once it is hot, squeeze a line of hot glue along one of the short edges. Wrap the other edge around and fold the edges over each other. Press the edge with the hot glue into the other edge. Let it cool.

    • 4

Add glitter glue and sequins to the front of the crown. You can add sequins by squeezing a little glitter glue onto the crown and pressing a sequin into it. Add swirls and diamond shapes, circles and spirals. Once you are satisfied with the look of the medieval crown, let it dry completely.
