Things You'll Need:
- Philip's Head Screwdriver
- (1) Extra Large Spring

Step 1
Remove the battery pack from the controller. To do this, hold down the release battery pack's release button and pull it apart from the controller's base.

Unscrew all of the screws from the back of the controller and hold the two halves together.

Step 3
Gently pull apart the back of the controller so as not to dislodge any of the components from the inside.

Step 4
Locate the right trigger, or RB button and carefully push up on the button so that the head pops free.

Step 5
Identify what appears to be a plus sign on the circular piece of plastic from underneath the RB button.

Step 6
Place one end of the spring on the plus signed piece of plastic and connect the other end to the circular slot under the RB button's head.

Step 7
Snap the RB button back into place making sure the spring is freely able to coil and uncoil, and rescrew the controller back together.
