1
Stain the decorative trim, the feet knobs and the perimeter of each wood panel. Lightly sand the surface of your wood panels to remove any splinters. Wipe the entire surface with a damp cloth to remove the sanding debris.
-
2
Lay the panels side by side on a flat surface. Measure two feet from the top edge and two feet from the bottom edge where the panels meet and place the hinges open on the surface of the wood. You will have two hinges joining each set of two panels.

3
Mark the spots where the screws will go and drill pilot holes. Pre-drilling the holes makes it easier to place the screws. Insert the screws and attach the hinges so that the panels are joined.
-
4
Mark the spots on the bottom edge of the panels where the knob feet will be placed. Each panel should have two knob feet situated four inches from the outer edge of the panel. Drill pilot holes for the knob screws and attach the knobs.

5
Apply mirror adhesive to the panels, one panel at a time. Press the mirror tiles firmly onto the panel. The face and the back of each panel will have two rows of five mirror tiles, side by side. Complete all three panels and let the adhesive dry.
-
6
Flip the mirror divider over and place mirror tiles on the opposite sides of the panels. Run a bead of Liquid Nail or another wood adhesive along the two outside edges of the mirror divider. Press the decorative trim in place and secure each piece with a few finishing nails. Let the adhesive dry.

Tips & Warnings
Find your materials for this project at your local home improvement store. The clerk will cut your wood panels to size for you at no additional charge. The six knobs are for the feet of your mirror divider, so look for knobs with center screw attachments.
Only use mirror adhesive for this project as other adhesives will eventually bleed through the face of the mirrors.
