Making an angel ornament out of a bell is a fun and easy craft for the Christmas season. A great gift idea, your friends and family will love this keepsake ornament.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bell
  • Wooden bead (sphere)
  • Craft paints
  • Hot-glue gun
  • Gold pipe cleaner
  • Black and fine-tipped markers
  • Embroidery floss
  • 3" width ribbon
  • Gold craft wire
  1. Step 1

If you wish, paint the bell. If your bell is gold or silver to start with, you may decide to not paint it.

  2. Step 2

With the hot-glue gun, glue the wooden bead on the handle of the bell. Let dry.

  3. Step 3

Draw eyes and other features on the spherical bead (the angel's head) with the fine-tipped marker. Simple closed eyes may be the easiest, but you can be as detailed as you'd like. You can also use a red fine-tipped marker to draw a mouth. It's a great idea to draw a simple 'o' mouth, to make it look like the angel is singing.

  4. Step 4

Fashion a small halo out of the gold pipe cleaner. It should be just large enough to rest on the wooden bead. Glue it on top of the bead with the hot-glue gun.

  5. Step 5

Take your ribbon and tie it into a large bow. Use your glue gun to anchor this on the back or your angel for wings. Fluff the bow out when the glue has dried.

  6. Step 6

Use the gold craft wire and twist it around the base of your bell handle. Bring the ends forward and loop on the ends to fashion the angel's arms and hands.

  7. Step 7

With the embroidery floss, make a small loop and glue to the back of your angel so that your friends and family can hang it on their Christmas trees.
