1
Make the background. Use white or green bulletin-board paper (or construction paper) to cover the board. Staple the paper to the board. You can cut the paper to fit the board or have it go over the edges in an artful way.
-
2
Trim the project board. Cut the black and/or red border into four pieces that fit each side of the project board. Make sure the pieces overlap at the corners.
-
-
3
Cut out the letters. Use the black construction paper to cut out the letters you need to spell the title of the project. Staple or glue the letters across the top of the project board.
-
4
Attach your project onto the board. Lay the board flat and try different layouts for your project. Decide which one looks best and staple the project pages into that position.
-
5
Add details to the project board. Attach appropriate pictures to the empty spaces on the board. Use stickers, photos or drawings depending on your artistic abilities and on your history project topic. For example, if your project is about the civil rights movement, draw or print photos of famous people from the movement and place them around the board.
