How to Fold a Bandanna Into a Doo-Rag
Tying a doo-rag correctly always looks easier than it really is. Tie it incorrectly, and it will fly off your head or ride up over your hair line. Tie it correctly, and everyone will be be gathering around and asking you for tips. Your doo-rag will be the talk of the town. Does this Spark an idea?

Locate the part of the bandana that includes a tag or label. Fold this corner diagonally so that the bandana forms a large triangle. If you have a larger head, only fold the corner partway. This will leave more material.

Place the folded edge against your forehead. Make sure it is centered. If you're outside on a blustery day when you attempt this, face the wind.

Hold on to the sides of the long edge with either hand and pull the edges around your head, towards the back.

While holding tightly to the edges, tuck the third corner of the bandanna down and smooth out any wrinkles.

Make sure the front of the rag is low on your forehead. Take the two edges in your hand and tie the first part of a double knot. Pull hard, until it feels very tight on your head.

Tie the second part of the double knot. It will loosen a bit, but it should still be tight enough to stay on your head easily.
