Instructions

    • 1

Locate the part of the bandana that includes a tag or label. Fold this corner diagonally so that the bandana forms a large triangle. If you have a larger head, only fold the corner partway. This will leave more material.

    • 2

Place the folded edge against your forehead. Make sure it is centered. If you're outside on a blustery day when you attempt this, face the wind.

    • 3

Hold on to the sides of the long edge with either hand and pull the edges around your head, towards the back.

    • 4

While holding tightly to the edges, tuck the third corner of the bandanna down and smooth out any wrinkles.

    • 5

Make sure the front of the rag is low on your forehead. Take the two edges in your hand and tie the first part of a double knot. Pull hard, until it feels very tight on your head.

    • 6

Tie the second part of the double knot. It will loosen a bit, but it should still be tight enough to stay on your head easily.
