How to Make Your Own Lollipops

Make your own lollipops out of chocolate for party favors, gifts or just for fun. It's easy to do and only takes a few minutes to make a bunch. The items needed can easily be purchased at any craft store or big box store, such as Wal-mart. The guide below explains step by step how to make your own lollipops out of chocolate.

Things You'll Need

• 14 ounces chocolate candy melts
• 8 Lollipop sticks
• 2 Lollipop molds

Instructions

1. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl for one minute, and then stir it. Microwave it for additional intervals of 20 seconds until all the chocolate is melted.

2. Place the lollipop sticks into the space provided on the molds.

3. Use a large spoon to fill the lollipop molds with chocolate.

4. Place the lollipops into the refrigerator until they are hardened. This should take about 20 minutes.

5. Remove the lollipops from the molds and cover them with cellophane until they are ready to eat.
