Instructions

  1. How to make an earring rack

    • 1

Take apart a frame and remove the cardboard or paper piece sandwiched between the glass and the frame back. If your frame does not have this, cut a piece of paper or cardboard to fit inside the frame.

    • 2

Wrap a piece of tulle around that inner piece of paper and secure it by taping it to the back of the paper.

    • 3

Cut a length of different-colored ribbons about twice the length of your frame. Fold the bunch of ribbons in half and staple them together at the top.

    • 4

Staple the joined bunch of ribbons to a top corner of the tulle-covered paper.

    • 5

Place the tulle-covered paper at the forefront of the frame. Put the frame back together by next placing the glass/hard plastic behind the tulle-covered paper, followed by the frame back.

    • 6

Adorn the frame. Make a bow and add a charm to it for extra flair.

    • 7

Squeeze a dab of hot glue on the frame and press the bow into it.

    • 8

Add earrings. Hanging earrings slip right into the tulle. Stake post-backed earrings through the ribbons.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't break the bank. Find a cheap frame at your local dollar store.
