Wash all dishes as usual, then clean the sink and fill it with hot water. You can either fill the sink with hot tap water or boil water to add to it.

3
Place plastic dishes in the bleach water. Leave them for about 30 minutes. The sanitizing only takes a few minutes, but leaving them longer doesn't hurt, and allows the water to cool before you have to place your hand in it to release the drain.
-
4
Rinse the plastic dishes well with hot water. Plastic can be a semi-porous material and the bleach can be deep inside the plastic, this makes bleach a great sanitizer but also difficult to rinse.
-
5
Place dishes on a clean towel to dry before putting them away.
