Things You'll Need:
- Diamond Chandelier Drops (see link in Resources)
- 1 Crystal for each loop on the chandelier drop (4-6 mm)
- 1 Jump Ring for each loop on the chandelier drop (4 mm)
- 1 Head Pin for each loop on the chandelier drop
- 2 Ear Wires
- Needle Nose Pliers
- Round Nose Pliers
- Wire Cutters
-
Step 1
Determine your crystal placement if you have different colors or sizes. The largest crystal should be placed in the center of the chandelier drop for most-balanced results.
-
Step 2
Place a crystal on a head pin and push the crystal all the way to the bottom of the head pin.
-
Step 3
Trim the excess head pin above the crystal bead to leave approximately 3/8 inch of head pin, extending up from the crystal.
-
Step 4
Form a loop above the crystal with the 3/8-inch extension of head pin left in Step 3 using the round nose pliers.
-
Step 5
Repeat Step 2 through Step 4 with the remaining crystals and head pins.
-
Step 6
Open each jump ring with the needle nose pliers. Place an open jump ring onto each loop created in Step 4.
-
Step 7
Place each crystal onto each loop of the diamond chandelier drop with the open jump rings.
-
Step 8
Close each jump ring completely with the needle nose pliers.
-
Step 9
Open the loop of an ear wire with the needle nose pliers and place the diamond chandelier drop onto this loop. Close the loop again. Repeat to finish the second earring.
