How to Tie Big Ribbons

1
Take the ribbon and find the middle point. To do this, stretch out the ribbon and gently fold it in half. The ends of the ribbon should meet; the fold is the middle point.
-
2
Grab the middle point with one hand, and take your other hand and grab the ribbon about 4 inches down from the fold. Take your other hand and grab the other side about 4 inches down from the fold. Stretch out the ribbon. Your hands should be about 8 inches apart with the middle point of the ribbon in front of you.

Tie a knot at the middle point. To do this, cross your hands to make a loop in the ribbon, and pull on end of the ribbon through the loop. Do this slowly, and be sure to make the knot in the middle of the ribbon.
-
4
Once the knot has been made, make two loops with the ribbon, on either side of the knot. To do this, use your index fingers to swoop up the ribbon into loops. Use your thumb and middle finger to hold the loops in place.
-
5
Cross the base of the loops over the knot you made previously. Be sure to create a small opening between the knot and the base of the loops.
-
6
Stick one of the loops through the opening between the knot and the base of the loops. Pull both loops until they are tight.
-
7
Make adjustments to the bow by opening up the ribbon on the bow to make it bigger and fuller. You may also need to pull the bottom ends of the ribbon to make the bow smaller.
