How to Make a Ballon Centerpiece
If you are planning a party, don't forget the centerpiece for the party table. A centerpiece is important for a fully dressed party table and can make a big difference in how your table looks. There is no need to spend a lot of money on a centerpiece, however. If you get a little creative with some colorful balloons, you can make an inexpensive centerpiece that incorporates your party colors and adds a splash of pizzazz to your party table. Things You'll Need
- Helium-filled balloons
- Balloon weights
- Gift bags
- Curling ribbon
- Scissors
- Confetti
- Tissue paper

Purchase seven or eight colorful helium balloons with colorful curling ribbon attached to them.

Place the balloon weights in the gift bags to weight them down.

Tie the helium filled balloons to the gift bags with lengths of curling ribbon. Make the balloons extend approximately 2 feet above the gift bags.

Place one or two pieces of tissue paper into the gift bags. Arrange the tissue paper so that it is sticking out of the top of the gift bags.

Curl the ends of the curling ribbon into cork-screw curls with the scissors. Open the scissors all the way, and quickly and firmly rub one blade along the end of the curling ribbon to create cork-screw curls.

Place the gift bags in the center of the party table.

Sprinkle confetti around the center area of the table for added color.

Cut a few more varied lengths of curling ribbon and curl them in the same fashion as in Step 4. Place them randomly around the centerpiece.
