Instructions

    • 1

Remove the ink pad from the stamp. Press the stamp down so that you can see the stamp plate. Press in on the small tabs on the sides of the stamp plate that hold it open. Use the tweezers included in the stamp kit to make the text you want on your labels.

    • 2

Place clear tape onto both right and left sides of the stamp plate to make sure that the stamp plate is free from the edges of the stamp when you are stamping.

    • 3

Press the stamp firmly onto an ink pad to load the stamp. Practice stamping with the fabric ink onto scraps of fabric. Practice with different color inks and different fabrics so that you can experiment with the different results and find something you like. Clean the ink completely off the stamp pad with a damp cloth before changing ink colors.

    • 4

Stamp your custom stamp onto the fabric you have chosen for your customized sewing labels. Make sure that you place the stamped text onto the fabric with enough room between each stamp so that you can cut out each customized label.

    • 5

      Allow the stamps to dry.

    • 6

Iron the labels to set them according to the directions for the fabric ink.

    • 7

Cut out each label with the pinking shears. You can cut them any size or shape you like. Experiment to find what you like best.

    • 8

Cut pieces of fusible web that are 1/8-inch smaller than the labels.

    • 9

Press the fusible web onto the back of the label with the iron. Do not remove the backing from the fusible web until you are ready to affix your label to an item you have sewn.

    • 10

Affix the label to an item by peeling off the paper backing from the fusible web and ironing the label to the sewn item to attach it.
