Things You'll Need:
- Masking tape
- Plastic bags
- 100 grit Sandpaper
- Hose
- Microfiber towel
- Acrylic spray paint
- Primer spray paint
- Plastic acrylic shine sealer spray paint
- Protective eyewear
- Gloves
- Painting mask
- Sealed shed or garage

Step 1
Sand every plastic and fiberglass surface on your golf cart with a circular motion. This will get the paint to stick better.

Step 2
Wash the dust off with a hose, and dry the cart completely with a microfiber towel.

Drive the golf cart into a sealed shed or garage so you don't get outdoor debris to blow onto the fresh paint.

Step 4
Tape plastic bags over anything you don't want to get paint on. This includes parts of the golf cart interior, the golf cart wheels, etc.

Step 5
Apply two very thin coats (15 minute intervals) of primer spray paint to all the plastic and fiberglass pieces you are painting. Allow one hour for drying.

Step 6
Apply three to four very thin coats (20 minutes intervals) of the color of acrylic spray paint you choose. Allow one hour for drying.

Step 7
Apply two thin coats (30 minute intervals) of acrylic shine sealer spray paint to all the plastic and fiberglass pieces you are painting. Allow 24 hours for drying.

Remove the tape and plastic bags.
