The bandana's versatility and renowned ability to accentuate an outfit make it an essential part of contemporary fashion. There are several ways to wear a bandana, some of which are detailed here.
Wear a triangularly folded bandana and around the top of your head, covering your hair and partially your ears.
Take the long edge of the triangularly folded bandana and hold it flat against your forehead, with the tip of the triangle pointing upward.
Take the two corners adjacent to the edge that is on your forehead and tie them together at the back of your head with a knot.
Wear a triangularly folded bandana and around the middle section of your head, covering your face below the tip of the nose.
Take the long edge of the triangularly folded bandana and hold it flat against your nose, below your eyes, with the tip of the triangle pointing downward.
Take the two corners adjacent to the edge that is against your face and tie them together with a knot at the back of your head.
Wear a bandanna as a stylish headband by folding the bandana into a rectangle and tying it around your head. Fold the edge of a triangularly folded bandana over itself about an inch in toward the tip of the bandana.
Do this over and over again until the tip of the triangle is folded flat against the initial edge, at which point you will have reached a rectangular shape.
Tie the bandana around your head.
To wear the bandana in your back pocket, minor variations in the folding procedure outlined in the "Headbands" section are needed: while folding the bandana, fold one end over itself more than the other to achieve a conical shape. Ensure that one side of the bandana is wider than the other.
