Instructions

    • 1

Locate the drain valve on the outside of the pool.

    • 2

Thread the garden hose onto the hose adapter, which should be included with your pool.

    • 3

Move the end of hose without the adapter to an area well away from the pool. It should be a spot that can accommodate the significant amount of water that will be emptying from the pool.

    • 4

Remove the cap from the drain valve and screw the hose adapter onto it. Allow the pool to drain completely.

    • 5

Remove the hose adapter and store it in a location where you will be able to find it when the pool needs to be drained again.

    • 6

Reattache the cap for the drain valve.

    • 7

Allow the pool to dry in a sunny location.

    • 8

When the pool is completely dry, flip it over and rinse the underside of the pool surface with a hose.

    • 9

Allow the bottom of the pool to dry completely. When it is dry, fold the pool and put it away.

Tips & Warnings

  • When pool water gets really low, you may need to tip the side opposite the drain valve to remove the remaining water. Consider storing the hose adapter with the pool chemicals so it is easy to locate in the future.
