Tips & Warnings
Make sure all players agree on the rules on game. Decide whether it will count if "Marco" tags a person with his foot or other body part, or whether only a hand-tag will count. A variation on this game is to allow players to get out of the pool and run around. "Marco" can yell "Fish out of water!" and whoever is out of the pool automatically becomes the new "Marco." You can also play Blindfold Tag, in which the person who is "it" is blindfolded and must try to catch the other players. This game is harder than Marco Polo because players do not call out to each other.
Remember to stay in the shallow end of the pool for safety reasons.
