Instructions

    • 1

Draw a horizontal oval with a pencil at the bottom of a piece of paper.

    • 2

Erase the bottom half of the oval so that you are left with a line whose middle curves upward.

    • 3

Draw with the help of a ruler a diagonal line that begins at the left end of the curve and lines up with the top left corner of the paper. Make this line as long as you would like.

    • 4

Draw another diagonal line, this time beginning at the right end of the curve and lining up with the top right corner of the page.

    • 5

Connect the two diagonal lines by drawing a series of triangles in between the two diagonals. Erase the bottom-most of the three legs of each triangle. The result should be a set of pointed "teeth" in between the two diagonals.

    • 6

Draw a decorative element, for example a star, at the top of each triangle.

    • 7

Decorate the crown as much or as little as you would like. Ideas include using colored markers, glitter or rhinestones, as well as writing "Princess" or a girl's name across the front of the crown.
