How to Cut Plexiglas Without Chipping

  • Plexiglas cutter
  • Straight-edge measuring level

      Measure the size needed and mark the measurements on the Plexiglas with your grease marker.

      Use your Plexiglas cutter and slowly follow the marked line. Push down on the cutter as you are pulling it toward you.

      Repeat Step 2, cutting into the Plexiglas three times total to make a score in it.

      Place your Plexiglas with the scored line that you cut near the edge of a table.

      Starting at one end, bend the waste piece down to snap it off. Go slowly and be sure to not press too hard as you are snapping, or the piece you want to keep can crack. Once the piece is snapped off, you are finished.
