Chocolate and chilis

If you are like me and love a little spice, you know that hot chilies and chocolate go great together. Here is just another simple way of combining the two. Make some Spicy Hot Chocolate, it is yummy and will keep you toasty!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • hot cocoa mix
  • hot sauce
  • cup
  • water
  1. Step 1

First what you need to do is warm up water. Just like you are making regular hot cocoa. You can warm it up in the microwave or boil some in a tea kettle.

  2. Step 2

Next pour your powder cocoa mix in the bottom of your mug. Don't add hot sauce yet.

  3. Step 3

Add your boiling water to powder. Do not stir until after you add your hot sauce.

  4. Step 4

Add your hot sauce, I would suggest one that is not vinigery. Some hot sauces are more vinigery than hot. You want one that is more hot.
add a few drops to mug and stir all together.

  5. Step 5

Enjoy the spice of your yummy hot cocoa!

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't add the hot sauce before the water you will get globs of chocolate that are harder to mix
  • Add hot sauce as you go, you don't want to add to much because you can't take it out
  • Your throat will tingle from the spice be sure to not add to much hot sauces.
