Make a Low Fat Breakfast Burrito

Low fat food doesn't have to be boring and tasteless. Here is a recipe for a low fat breakfast burrito you will enjoy.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • low fat flour tortillas
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 med red potato
  • 1/4 c low fat cheese (optional)
  • salsa (optional)
  1. Step 1

Preparation. Start your breakfast by preparing 1 red potato in the microwave. Let it cool to handle, peel off skin and add salt and pepper. Separate egg whites into a bowl and add salt and pepper, also.

  2. Step 2

Be a Low Fat Chef. Add butter cooking spray to a skillet on medium heat. Put in potatoes and move around to coat with spray. Next, add egg whites and cook together. Once egg whites are cooked remove to a plate.

  3. Step 3

Wrap Your Burrito. Heat a low fat tortilla (150 cal or less) in a dry skillet on med heat. Flip after 8-10 seconds and remove from pan. Put filling into the tortilla (add low fat cheese if you'd like). Add a side of salsa for a little kick. Total calories 265-300 calories.
