How to Wake Yourself up in The Morning
Some people naturally spring out of bed at 6 a.m. and begin their day. Others struggle to get out of bed at all, and when they do, it may be accompanied by a feeling of exhaustion. If you're part of the latter group, you know the morning routine isn't fun. However, you can employ a few tricks to make it easier to wake up and feel refreshed when you get to work.

1
Place an alarm away from your bed so you must stand up, walk over and shut it off. If your alarm is close by, you may swing your hand over and hit "Snooze" over and over. If you're forced to stand up and walk to the alarm, you're making yourself get out of bed.

2
Wash your face. It's natural to feel groggy when you wake up, but a splash of water to the face can essentially shock your system and force you to become more conscious.

3
Eat breakfast. Breakfast can help prepare you for the day better than anything else. According to WebMD, eating breakfast provides you with more strength, endurance and concentration than you would have if you skipped the morning meal.
-
4
State one goal you want to achieve at some point in the day. Having something to work toward can motivate and inspire you, making it easier to snap out of your morning weariness.
-
5
Drink a cup of coffee. According to ABC News, the University of Scranton found that coffee not only contains caffeine, which naturally increases alertness, it also contains a number of antioxidants.
