Don't let the recession put a damper on your fun. Need something to do that doesn't take a lot of dough? Why not host a game night and invite your friends over to play some cards?

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a deck of cards (or 2 depending on how many players you have)
  • Some snacks and drinks
  • A few friends
  1. Step 1

Shuffle the deck and deal(8)cards per player.

  2. Step 2

To decide who goes first you can go clock-wise, counter clock-wise, roll a dice and see who gets the largest number- you decide.

  3. Step 3

Take the remaining deck and flip over the first card and set vertical to the deck.

  4. Step 4

Each player will put down a card that either matches suit or matches numbers. The name of the game is Crazy 8's- what this means is 8's are wild, you can change suit with one. Just simply call out what you would like to change the suit to. The object of the game is to be the first player with no cards. If you run out of cards add another deck or re-shuffle to stack.

Tips & Warnings
  • Have fun
  • Perfect game to play with young kids, it's kind of like the game, Go fish
  • Perfect game for a girls night out or even a slumber party!
  • Don't win 8 games in a row, like I did, or other players will think you're cheating. lol
  • Don't get to competitive- it's just a game.
