The resort charges for individual attractions and use of campsites, so plan ahead to get the most bang for your buck.
Individual Ticket Policy
Although you must purchase individual tickets for each ride, the tickets do not expire and may be used for your next trip. The park offers a special, Monday through Friday -- except holidays -- where you can buy a book filled with $5, $10 or $20 worth of tickets at a slightly discounted rate. As of December 2014, the least expensive attractions are the kiddie carnival rides. The priciest attractions include the wooden bobsled coaster and Scenic Skyride, a 14-minute journey up a mountain via a ski lift. Although tickets are not available for purchase online, you can buy them in person at the park, by phone with a credit card or by mail with a check.
Knoebels offers a Pay-One-Price special on the weekends in May and September and on weekdays throughout the entire operating season, excluding holidays. Rates for the all-day ride pass vary based on the date. The most comprehensive pass includes access to all of the park’s basic rides and coasters. Special attractions such as the haunted mansion, laser-tag arena and miniature golf are not included in the pay-one-price plan. A significantly cheaper pass is available for those measuring less than 48 inches as those guests are prohibited from riding some of the larger thrill rides, including the Phoenix, Knoebels' iconic wooden roller coaster.
The bustling park is home to a host of other attractions, including a swimming pool with waterslides and splashground. There’s an admission fee for the pool and you need individual tickets to ride each slide. The pool also has a six-slide pass, combination admission/all-day slide pass and reduced rates for slides after 5 p.m. The on-site campground has cabins for rent and tent and camper sites, some of which have electric hook-ups. The campground is available for nightly and weekly rentals. Lake Glory campground in Catawissa, 10 minutes from Knoebels, provides shuttle service to and from the park.
Some local vendors sell Knoebels tickets. Weis Market, a supermarket chain, has vouchers available for sale certain times during the year. Vouchers come with an allotted value at a discounted rate and may be purchased at the supermarket’s checkout stands. The voucher can be redeemed at Knoebels’ ticket booth for ride tickets.
