If you think about it, after you get over the shock of the existence of this industry, it's not surprising that the those who run it make a lot of money. You are essentially paying to keep the nudes and normals separate. Running around naked in public is not a generally accepted practice and in some locales there are those pesky public nudity ordinances to contend with.
