How to Become a Qualified Travel Agent

Travel agents are trained in the areas of domestic and international travel, assisting clients with booking flights and hotels as well as arranging vacation packages. Because the path to becoming a travel agent can vary from an actual college degree to a program designed by a travel agency, the time required to become a travel agent also varies. On average, a travel agent requires 1 to 4 years of training.
