Things You'll Need:
- Jeans
-
Step 1
Shake out jeans. Make sure there are no extreme wrinkles, folded cuffs or other obstacles that will keep you from creating neat folds.
-
Step 2
Depending on the cut of the jean, they will either easily fold with pockets out or pockets in. Judge this by which way the inner seam bulges when folded. Most jeans, however, fold with pockets out.
Make this fold and smooth the fabric. -
Step 3
Take the bottom cuffs of the jeans and pull them up to pocket-level. Make sure they are even with one another, and parallel with the top of the pocket seam, then create an unwrinkled fold.
You can also drop the top of the jeans down to meet the cuffs, but this is a less-precise manner of accomplishing the fold. -
Step 4
Fold the remaining fabric in half, the long way, with the (front or back) pocket facing outward. Jeans should now be ready for neat, retail-level stacking.
