How to Make Your Ebay Sales Page Better For Free
One of the advantages of selling your items on eBay is that you can effortlessly reach millions of people. Of course, reaching all those people doesn't help if your sales page isn't enticing enough to convert viewers into buyers. A product's sales page is where buyers decide if the item for sale is worth their money. If your sales page doesn't convince them that it is, they'll go elsewhere. Fortunately, you don't have to spend extra money to spice up your sales pages.

1
Include specific information about the product you're selling. When a potential buyer views your sale's page, the information you present needs to sell him on the item. Your sales page must contain information directly related to the product you're selling. Include such information as the reason you're selling the item, whether it's used or new, its exact condition, whether it has any defects, and its dimensions if applicable.
-
2
Explain why the buyer should purchase the product. Your sales page is there to essentially tell the buyer "Buy this item because of these reasons." For example, if you're selling a wireless containment fence for dogs, explain that it's invisible but effective, that its range far exceeds other wireless fences, that it works for dogs of all sizes, and that it works in all kinds of weather.

3
Write in a large font and mix in colors. Avoid writing in small fonts, such as 10-point size, as it fails to catch a reader's eye and it may be difficult for some potential buyers to read. Use at least size 14-point font, and mix in colors to make your page stand out. For example, if you're selling a fish tank, you could write, "This 10-gallon tank includes a cast iron stand," and highlight "cast iron stand" in red to make it stand out.
-
4
Include a picture. EBay offers you the opportunity to add one free picture to your listing. Pictures can capture a product in a way that words can't, especially for certain products, such as antiques and coins.
-
5
Format the page in a way that pulls the buyer in. Make use of the alignment function, font styles and indents to create a clean, smooth page. Always center the title of your product. If you're making a list, such as the pros and cons, title each list and align it in the center to call attention to it.
