Step 1
First and foremost, exercise goes hand in hand with a good diet plan. If you do not exercise and you have quite a bit to lose, the skin sags and you really do not look any better. So make up your mind to exercise from day one of the diet plan. You do not have to do extremely hard excercises,just your basics, stretching to begin with and then some walking as well. It is really up to you as to which exercises you prefer. But just make sure you do them.

Step 2
Shop for good foods, such as fruits and vegetables. Some nutri grain bars are great for the candy bar attacks you get. Special K has some good snack bars as well. Never cut out all of your favorites though as this causes a relapse in your good eating habits. Just do simple little things, like when you want potato chips, open the bag and pour the chips into a cereal bowl, the put the chips away! That stops you from eating the whole bag, which I think many of us have done.

Step 3
Portions on your plate should be adequate, but not heaped. Clean your plate and try not to have second helpings. Not eating anything is the worst way to lose weight, it is not healthy and does more damage than good. Moderation in all foods is the key. Once you establish these habits, you will find it easier to control your weight. You CAN do it, good luck and I hope this helps!
