Things You'll Need:
- Plastic eggs
- Colored eggs
- A basket
- Homemade invitations
-
Step 1
PLAN the hunt. Where it will be held, when it will be held, and who will be attending.
-
Step 2
INVITATIONS can be kept simple. Have kids sit down and drawn Easter pictures out the invititations and deliver them to family, friends, and neighborhood children with an RSVP. Many children go away for the holiday so it would be nice to have a head count for the events.
-
Step 3
EGGS can be decorated the night before the egg hunt, if using hard-boiled eggs. If using plastic eggs, fill them with stickers, small toys, a little candy, and other small treats. Make a few eggs extra special for the lucky finder.
-
Step 4
THE HUNT begins usually after church activities, so leave enough time before guest arrive to hide the eggs inside and outside the home. Remember to count how many eggs you have so all can be accounted for.
-
Step 5
HAVE FUN watching the kids hunt for Easter eggs and playing other games.
