How to upload your podcast to Feedburner.com

So you've got a podcast, people just need to hear it! Feedburner is a website that helps promote your podcast. You can view stats, and if you've made any money, etc. Here's how to upload it!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with internet connection.
  • A podcast in mp3 form.
  1. Step 1

    Go to feedburner.com and create an account.

  2. Step 2

    Click on 'Podcasts'. Scroll to the bottom of the page where it says, "Get Started Feedburning Now" and click on that.

  3. Step 3

    Type in the blog or feed address. Click next and follow the rest of the instructions.

  4. Step 4

    It will eventually give you a URL that looks something like this: http://feeds2.feedburner.com/YourURL

  5. Step 5

    Making Updates: Feedburner offers a slew of options to package, promote, and even monetize the podcast with googlesense. Look at the tips below to make the best of Feedburner!

Tips & Warnings
  • OPTIMIZE-Services-activate Smartcast and Smartfeed-If you've got the time, should activate all. Just be somewhat selective with "browser friendly" and "feedflare" so the page doesn't get bogged down with excessive content.
  • PUBLICIZE-Headline Animator-create and post at all social network pages so people can easily sign up.
  • PingShot - will automatically notify services (podcast outlets) when you post a new episode so that they update their system asap.
