Instructions

    • 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Remove the phyllo dough from the freezer and let thaw, if using frozen dough. Melt the butter in the microwave, being careful not to let it boil, or place it in a pan to melt on the stove and pour it into a small dish to use.

    • 2

Separate one sheet of phyllo dough and place it on a nonstick surface. Use a pastry brush to spread butter on each side of the sheet.

    • 3

Scoop 3 to 4 tablespoons of ricotta cheese onto the end of the sheet of phyllo dough.

    • 4

Make a triangle by folding the dough so that the top and bottom points of the square connect. Press the edges to seal the cheese inside the dough.

    • 5

Spray a nonstick baking sheet with cooking spray as phyllo dough is very delicate and hard to remove if it gets stuck to the sheet. Place the completed ricotta stuffed triangles on the sheet.

    • 6

Bake until the triangles are light golden brown and crispy, about 20 minutes. Cool for two minutes and serve.
