Easter time evokes images of tulips, wide-brimmed hats and bunny rabbits. Presenting the perfect Easter basket can be traditional, but you can add a modern touch to this holiday favorite. Enjoy the suggestions and Happy Easter!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

A traditional Easter basket is usually a bountiful presentation of sweet treats in a wicker variety. Store-bought varieties contain plenty of confetti made to look like fresh grass that fills the base of the basket and boosts up the yummy chocolates and jelly beans, but for a change of pace....

  2. Step 2

If your recipient is a reader, fill the base of the basket with a few good books and magazines, a gift card from their favorite book store, portable reading light, and maybe a few baked goods to eat while turning the pages.

  3. Step 3

Alternatively, if your recipient loves to garden, put in a few packages of seeds, gardening gloves, watering can and a good pruning tool.

  4. Step 4

Music lovers can also enjoy a themed Easter basket complete with CDs, T-shirts with names of their favorite bands, portable music accessories such as new headphones and the list goes on and on....
