How to Download Torrents

Many new files can be downloaded in a file type called a torrent. To get these files you need to know how to download torrents. However, downloading torrents is different then downloading most other file types.

Instructions

1. A torrent is a a file that you can download not only from the person or company hosting the file, but from others that have downloaded it already. You will need a bit torrent client such as bitcomet, µTorrent, or Vuze. Some p2p file sharing programs such as Limewire can be used as well. You will need one of these to download torrents.

2. Once you have found a website with a torrent that you wish to download click the download button. This does not download the file you want, but the torrent file which tells your computer how to download the torrents. When the computer asks you what to do

3. When the computer asks you what to do with this file, click open. This should automatically start your bit torrent client. If you accidentally save the file, locate it and double click on it to open in.

4. The torrent should now begin to download.
